Welcome to Oaklands Day Nursery

Excellent care and pre-school education in a homely atmosphere.

USEFUL INFORMATION

NURSERY OPENING TIMES.

We open all year round, Mondays to Fridays, from 7.45 to 18.15 with the exception of the period between Christmas and New Year (3-4 working days), and 4 days at Easter time. This minimal closure allows us to carry out any necessary maintenance work. We also close for Bank Holidays

Location

We are located on Brook Street, just a few minutes' walk from Tonbridge main line station, with regular fast trains to London, (40 minutes to Charing Cross and Cannon Street).

We are five minutes walk from Tonbridge town centre, close to the main schools in Tonbridge, Primary, Secondary and the Further Education College,

Our Ethos

Oaklands nursery is run by a family for families and our children settle quickly and happily in the secure and homely atmosphere we strive to achieve.

There is no such thing as an “average child” and staff take care to respect, care for, and provide for each individual. We have many aims and ideals but our primary goal is that every child at Oaklands should progress to school with a positive self-image, equipped with the necessary skills, social, emotional, physical and intellectual, to ensure a happy transition to school life and beyond.

We welcome children from a variety of backgrounds and different nationalities. We have several children from French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish speaking homes and the children enjoy learning about different cultures and languages.
